The Labwmate Glow Wire
Flammability Tester is designed to test the flammability of
electrical appliances. The exact temperature at which material burns can
be determined. This electrically heated Glow Wire is pressed against the
test sample with a defined temperature and force. The Model GWT replaces
the traditional Bunsen burner test.
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Electrically heated by a current transformer (ca. 150 A) to a
predetermined temperature from 0 - 960¡æ
- Temperature is measured by a Type K thermocouple and is indicated
on a digital display
- A movable, low friction carriage creates a force against the
sample
- Penetration depth and flame height is measured on a linear scale
- Tabletop unit. Most parts are stainless steel
- Reference IEC60695-2-1
- Available in 110 or 230V
- Dimensions: 300W X 700L X 500H mm (approx. 12 X 27 X 19.5 inches)
- Weight: 6 kilos (approx. 13 pounds)
Determining the flammability point is very
important in product safety testing. The Labwmate Glow Wire Tester is
manufactured according to the latest, revised standards, minimizing
measuring errors, improving procedures and simplifying operations.
